In the context of its work to promote and improve the position of women in the legal profession, ASLAWomen has developed a pro bono initiative aimed at well-qualified female law graduates from low-income families in Africa: Project Leonesse d'Africa (African Lionesses).
Students will be offered the opportunity to participate in six-month internships in one or more ASLA law firms, supporting lawyers in their daily activities, primarily in international business-related matters.
The aim of the project is to allow participating students to acquire international experience, in a professional and modern working environment, giving them an experience of working in an inclusive culture which recognises the value of diversity that they are able to take back to their home countries.
